Amy Southerland wrote a piece in The Atlantic on the use of games in higher education. In the short article she mentions Tom Chatfield’s TED talk “7 Ways Games Reward the Brain” (Tom also wrote a great book, Fun, Inc., that I highly recommend).

Worth a quick read.
