Hackers were able to alter the programming of the Microsoft Kinect only a matter of days after it’s November 4 debut. Florian Echtler was able to accomplish the hack by hooking an open source Kinect driver to his personal, custom, multitouch software library. The first of many interesting tweeks we will see over the next few months.
