I noticed several tweets on the use of Microsoft Kinect to control actions in off-the-shelf video games (e.g. World of Warcraft) and decided to check it out.
Watch this impressive video from USC Institute of Creative Technologies. Controlling video games in this way opens up a whole new world of possibilities–I’m especially enthusiastic about combining this type of motion control with 3D television. Of course I don’t get simulator sickness….
